- I've noticed that there's a LOT of cross-posting going on in comp.lang.c++
- about things that really AREN'T C++ related. For example, people asking about
- Visual Basic. Others asking about OO methodology.
-
- Additionally, there is a lot of platform-dependent threadage regarding usage
- of Visual C++ or Borland C++ or whatnot. Should not those things be in
- alt.os.windows.programming??? (the precise name escapes me...my apologies).
-
- The truly C++ topics (how do I initialize an array of classes, discussions on
- heavy use of virtual functions versus templates, etc.) get lost in the
- shuffle.
-
- I suggest that someone moderates this heavily travelled group to improve the
- signal-to-noise ratio. What do you think? Any volunteers?
